UTG company experts have traditionally summed up the results of the Ukrainian retail real estate market. According to the review, in 2025, the attendance of shopping centers in our country continued its gradual positive dynamics. The company’s analysts calculated that the average daily attendance of shopping centers last year was 393 people per 1,000 sq. m of GLA, in contrast to the figure in 2024, when shopping centers were visited by an average of 383 people per day.

According to UTG company experts, the most people came to shopping centers of the district format (mainly with goods and services of daily demand): an average of 680 people per day in 2025, in contrast to 660 people in 2024. While the attendance of shopping centers of the district format in 2025 amounted to 519 people per 1,000 sq. m of GLA, in contrast to 507 people in 2024. The attendance of shopping centers of the regional format grew the least, from 308 people per 1,000 sq. m of GLA in 2024 to 318 people last year. According to the forecasts of the company’s analysts, after the end of the war, the decline in attendance will be especially noticeable in obsolete, inconveniently located, and losing popularity facilities.
