The Polish company Pepco will open one of its first stores in Ukraine at the Gorodok Gallery SC in Kyiv, UTG company — the broker for the deal — told the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.

The store at Gorodok Gallery will span 680 sq. m and offer clothing for the whole family, home goods, children’s products, toys, and seasonal decor.

“This is not just another opening but a clear signal: global retailers believe in the Ukrainian market and are choosing prime locations for their launch. For Gorodok Gallery itself, this is a major victory and the result of a significant overhaul; following a large-scale renovation, an innovative ‘Silpo’ store has opened here, the long-awaited Pepco will soon open its doors, and several other top brands that will surprise shoppers are next in line,” Evgenia Loktionova, Director of UTG company, told Interfax-Ukraine.

Pepco is a leading European general-merchandise discount retailer that is expanding rapidly. Ukraine will be the twentieth market for the company, which is pursuing a strategy of controlled expansion across Central and Eastern Europe. Pepco had previously announced plans to begin operations in Ukraine in the second half of 2026, with openings in Kyiv’s Respublika Park and Retroville SECs already announced.

Pepco is a Polish chain of clothing and household goods stores headquartered in Poznań. It has been operating since 1999 and has over 4,000 stores across 19 countries. The brand is part of Pepco Group. Pepco Group is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (PCO).
