The Consumer Sentiment Index in Ukraine is determined based on a sample survey of households in the country. During the survey, 1,000 people aged 16 and over are interviewed. The sample structure corresponds to the population structure by parameters such as gender, age, size of the settlement and region according to the latest available data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine before the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022. The Consumer Sentiment survey is not conducted in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, as well as other territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia, where Ukrainian operators do not provide mobile telephone services. The survey also does not include Ukrainians who have gone abroad. The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 3.1%.
