Kyiv. September 16. INTERFAX-UKRAINE \u2013 Rental rates for warehouses in Ukraine have increased by 12-13% over the past few months, Director of UTG company Evgenia Loktionova told Interfax-Ukraine.<\/p>\n
\u201cDue to the destruction and the rapid reduction of vacant spaces, the market has turned into a \u201clandlord\u2019s market\u201d. Only in recent months, due to the worsening of the shortage, the rates for high-quality spaces have increased by 12-13% on average,\u201d said Loktionova.<\/p>\n
According to UTG, in the Kyiv region the prime effective rental rate for class A is in the range of $5-$5.5 per sq.\u00a0m\/month (without VAT and OPEX), and in separate agreements for the most popular or protected objects it reaches $6 per sq.\u00a0m. In the western regions (in particular, the Lviv region), rates range from $6\u20137 per sq.\u00a0m.<\/p>\n
As reported, according to WINHUB research, as of the beginning of September, the warehouse infrastructure of Ukraine has decreased by 50% \u2013 from 4.2 million square meters to the beginning of 2022, the enemy destroyed 2.1 million square meters (classes A\/B). New construction for 2022-26 (800,000 square meters) only partially compensated for the losses. The situation is even more noticeable in the capital region, where more warehouses were lost in eight months of 2026 than in 2022-25, a total of 68% of the runoff (1.5 million square meters) was lost.<\/p>\n
