<\/p>\nAccording to the calculations of the experts of the UTG company, since 2015, the revenue from the provided IT services in Ukraine has grown by an average of 11.3% annually. According to the results of 2022, computer, information and telecommunication services reached $3.713 billion, accounting for 40.5% of the volume of export of services or 6.96% of all exports of Ukraine. Despite massive occupiers strikes on the country\u2019s energy infrastructure, unpredictable power outages and difficulties in attracting new customers, the reduction of this industry amounted to only 7.9%, while the total export of goods and services fell by -34.06%. In the future, the loyalty of the international public and the possible accession of Ukraine to NATO and the EU will give positive dynamics to the development of the industry, which will lead to the development of international organizations, enterprises and brands in the country, especially in the IT sector. And first of all, this applies to those that have closed and completely left the territory of Russia, which can lead to the rapid flourishing of IT companies in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
However, the problem of a lack of qualified personnel may hinder the positive scenario of the development of this branch of the economy. UTG analysts estimate that there are about 5,000 IT companies operating in Ukraine. Among them, the share of outsourcing companies is 60%, 36% – startups, 4% – R&D centers. In general, the industry is represented by global giant companies such as EPAM, SoftServe, GlobalLogic, Luxoft, Ciklum, NIX, Data Art, AJAX Systems, Sigma Software, Playtika, Infopulse, Astound Commerce, Xenoss, Exadel, Delphi Software, Onseo and many others. At the same time, with the rapid development of Internet technologies, connection speed, coverage width and the number of network users, Ukraine now ranks 7th in Europe. This led to the galloping development of outsourcing companies, and our country turned into one of the world leaders in the service of leading international TNCs.<\/p>\n

As of March 2023, 269,895 specialists are employed in the IT industry. Of which 92,400 people occupy places in the TOP-50. However, after the aggressor\u2019s invasion of Ukraine, 16% of IT workers were left without work. For example, hundreds of specialists have cut such companies as: Rozetka, EVO, Nova Poshta and Parimatch Tech. But when the business stabilized a little, they returned only a part of the workers. The main reason for this is the relocation of enterprises and further legalization abroad, the share of which is about 13% of all IT personnel. In addition, about 34% of active male IT specialists are looking for an opportunity to leave the country. Also, the reduction of the number of specialists in the IT industry is facilitated by internal displacement, which is especially characteristic of international companies: EPAM, SoftServe, GlobalLogic, Luxoft, Ubisoft, Ciklum, ELEKS, Dev.Pro, Playrix, DataArt, AirSlate.<\/p>\n
