Sample group counted 800 respondents, that allows the highest possible error within the critical dispersion less than 3.5%.

According to the research, the popularity of shopping entertainment malls among consumers has increased compared to the last year`s results. 73.8% of respondents prefer buying clothes and shoes in shopping malls, that is 7.8% more than in 2015. The number of online purchases has also increased by 3.9% and now reaches 21.9%.

Moreover, the average time spent in a shopping mall has significantly grown. Whereas some time ago 49% of respondents spent less than 60 minutes in a shopping mall, and only 48% - more, now these showings are equal to 32 and 62.5%. If to take into account the time spent in a shopping mall more than 90 minutes, the index has shown 49,2%, that has increased by 9% compared to the last year`s result.

As a result the number of stores visited by consumers per one time has increased. Last year only 47.2% of respondents visited more than 3 shops for the time being in a shopping mall, whereas this index currently shows 60.3%. One fifth of (19.6%) all consumers visit more than 7 stores per one time, that is twice more than the last year`s index.

Research results have revealed consumers` eagerness to spend more time for the process of purchasing goods. This fact emphasizes the significance of a large product-mix in shopping centers.
